Hey there! My name is Kirsten (KEER-stin) but you can call me Kay! I have three wonderful and challenging children and two fur-children. I have been the proud wife of a military member for 9 years. Our military adventure has currently dropped us off in Tucson, Arizona for the next couple years.
For 5 years I served in the United States Air Force as a Graphic Designer and Video Broadcaster. I created printed and web graphics along with complete video production to include filming, scripting, video editing and motion graphics. I also maintained social media accounts for several USAF units.
I earned my Associate of Science in Public Affairs in 2010 from the Community College of the Air Force. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County focusing on Photography and Graphic Design.
I worked for the National Institute of Science and Technology creating and maintaining web pages, articles and graphics. I interned with Amvets National Headquarters providing event photography, web support, social media maintenance, live steaming, video and graphic design production along with magazine collaboration. I worked with the Davis-Monthan Force Support Squadron Marketing Department creating posters and flyers for print and web to advertise base events and programs.
I have run my own professional photography business for 5 years. Ranging from weddings, family photography and studio sessions. Offering a full line of high-end prints and canvases along with seamless photo editing and retouching. I have also been doing freelance graphic design work for 5 years creating websites, logos, bumper stickers, t-shirts, advertisements, brochures and business cards.
I love taking the ideas in my head and turning them into something tangible for others to enjoy!
